About the murder:
She was walking to the store after running out of snacks, when Jelianye Gil (her ex BFF) kidnapped her and murdered her. She took Lailani to her basement and slashed her throat and shot her 20 times on her body. Lailani’s parents reported their missing child and after 14 long days, she was found dead in a plastic garbage bag in her ex bff’s basement.
