News reporter Julia reitz states that on December 13th, A 17 year old girl was shot and killed on the 1500 block of philo road in Urbana Il . Reporters say they arrived on the scene at approximately 8:15 pm when they found the victim identified as Latanya Stubbs who family and friends know as “Kayla” or “Kay” laying on the sidewalk by jackpot convenience store. The victim had two bullet holes in her head and 4 in her back, police say they knew she was dead just moments after reviewing the body. Neighbors and nearby citizens state that “they don’t know what happened they just heard shots and found her laying there”. She was brought to carle hospital and as soon as she arrived she was pronounced dead.
