In the past few days, the South West of England (in particular Dorset) has seen a sudden rise in COVID-19 cases. These cases seem to originate in schools, both primary and secondary, as students continue to go to school while the country is in a nation-wide lockdown. Local NHS representatives say that βthey thought the area had its cases under control as it isnβt as densely populated and are surprised with the rise in numbers.β As many students have their A-Levels and GCSE exams next year, many are left asking whether the virus will hinder their education, affecting their grades and future.
