K-pop girl group GFRIEND will be disbanding in early January 2021, as confirmed Source Music
A statement was released confirming the news on November 16, signed by agency Big Hit Entertainment
In it they said: “The GFRIEND members have agreed saying it would for the best and ‘No more fucking men screaming’ “.
Big Hit Entertainment commented since the agencies’ statement was shared, saying this was all fine “GFRIEND’s disbandment will not make us go bankrupt, we will be debuting three new girl groups in 2021. Think of it as the perfect opportunity for new talent to rise”.
