Reno woman ran over by diesel truck along Interstate 395

A Reno woman identified as Adele Winnemucca, 30, was walking along Interstate 395 heading South at the Golden Valley exit when she was struck by a diesel truck that had swerved off the road, killing her on immediately on impact. The driver claimed to have been driving for almost 24 hours straight traveling from Salt Lake City, Utah to Los Angeles, Ca and fatigue was most likely the cause of the accident. The driver of the truck passed all field sobriety tests but police took the driver to the hospital for a blood test to determine whether the driver was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol during the time of the accident.
