Pasco County Schools Closing For The Rest Of The Year

After the meeting that has been held November 16th on Monday, the district has decided to close all Pasco County Schools untill the following school year: August 11th, 2021. On the Monday after thanksgiving break, students will start doing school online. This will be done by using the Zoom app to get connected with teachers. Schools will be closed due to the huge outbreak of COVID-19. Cases have been getting worse and more Americans are dying. The district has decided that it would be safe to stay at home. Unfortunately, social distancing and face mask have not been working. Cypress Creek Middle School had the most Coronavirus cases of the whole county. Cypress had 28 cases and half the school had to be quarantined. Pasco Middle School is the runner up with 23 cases. For more information, check out the Pasco County website.
