Lin-Manuel Miranda Found dead at age 40

Police have identified the man found dead in the Long Island Sound after the canoe he was riding in capsized.
The man’s body was recovered Tuesday off the coast of Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. He has been identified as 40-year-old Mauro Godinez.
Godinez was riding in the canoe with three other men when it tipped over. Police say the canoe was originally intended for two people and Godinez was not wearing a life jacket when he fell into the water.
Three of the men were rescued right away, and a nearly 12-hour search was carried out by local and state police and the Coast Guard for Godinez. Crews identified Godinez because he still had his wallet on him.
Godinez worked at a grocery store on Lexington Avenue in Norwalk, according to owner Luis Serrano. He says Godinez lived above the store and worked hard to support his wife and children, who live in Guatemala.
