WASHINGTON, DC
Lauren Campbell, 20 of Warwick, Rhode Island, died in a car crash on I-495 at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 10th.
Campbell, a student at the prestigious American University, and graduate of La Salle Academy in Providence, was studying to enter a career in politics. Campbell was traveling with her girlfriend, Chicago native Clarie Mills when her vehicle was struck by a drunk driver who was traveling down the wrong lane. Mills is currently hospitalized, but is in stable condition and is expected to survive.
Ms. Campbell is survived by an older sibling, and her two parents. Funeral arrangements are currently unannounced.
