This last weekend stay at home dad Charles Smith had a dragon sized surprise when his daughter Kennedy found a dragon. Smith says that they where walking in the back country and he found a clearing and decided to sit down. ¨Ever since my diagnosis I have been being extra careful; that why Kennedy makes me go on these walk it helps me¨Smith states. Kennedy decided to walk farther into the woods by the stream. ¨I have always loved that stream, I vivit it a lot. The last time I was there I lost my bracelet that my Mama gave me before she left and went to the hospital, and eventually died¨ She had been coming every day and staying for long periods of time. The day before however she came and left, and in the hurry dropped the bracelet le late mother Ella, who died in a freak car accident with a drunk driver 2 years ago. Kennedy was looking in the bushes when she saw the dragon. ¨I was not scared Mama was a animal person and was a Zoologist, I I know animals and I had never seen an animal like this.¨ Kennedy ran and told her father and they informed the zoo where Ella used to work. The zoo, which is staying anonymous for the dragons sake has been studying the dragon for the last days. Before giving the dragon to the zoo Kennedy named the dragon Iris. Iris was also ¨adopted¨ by Kennedy. Charles says that ¨ Its the first time I’ve seen Kenny happy in months… she was at summer camp when Ella passed and hasn’t been the same. She blames herself you see Ella was on the way to drop off Kenny´s bed roll, and the drunk ran into her…¨ Kennedy is happy now and Iris is healthy. Seams like everything is A okay!
