A local Calgary DJ and music producer has just released a brand new album for the spooky season that features small town artist and music producer DMR. The album contains a total of four songs two of which where created and produced by DMR and the remainder of the album featuring remixes of two popular Halloween remixes.
During the COVID-19 pandemic music artists in Calgary and the surrounding areas have been feeling the burn of the collapsing music scene in the city and have been met with financial difficulties and loss of jobs when the country shut down in late March of 2020.
DJ BEATS is the proud owner and founder of DJ BEATS STUDIOS a small time records label to help local up and coming artists find a foot hold in the canadian music industry. So far DJ BEATS STUDIOS has released music from four different artists from different parts of the world and the views don’t lie as one song hit 300 views on YouTube within the first twenty-four hours of upload.
DJ BEATS pins his success and empowerment on his small group of tight knit friends and family along with his girlfriend. He said in his latest Instagram post “During this pandemic friends and family have helped me through the rough times and put me back ony feet when I needed it the most. A huge shoutout to my friends and family for always being there for me when I need you love you guys!”
