2 Dead 5 Injured In Garfield Heights

On Saturday October 17, at 5:00 PM. There was a gun shootout in Garfield Heights off of 113th street. There was a disagreement that got out of hand which resulted in 2 deaths and 5 injured. The people who died have been recognized as 13 year old, Jasmine Fitzgerald she attends Garfield Heights Middle School, and 28 year old, Avery Lamar, A mom of three. Jasmine Fitzgerald Was announced dead at the scene after being shot 6 times in the chest. 28 year old, Avery Lamar Died on the way to the hospital, Both have been laid to rest. Police are still doing further investigation.
