Earlier this afternoon around 12:15pm, an incident occurred at Firth Park Academy Secondary School where the school tragically set on fire. Sadly, 4 were injured but luckily none died.
The 4 that were injured are in a stable condition in Northern General Hospital being treated.
Bronsaleina Tasleba, Sam Dunwell, Sam Geoffrey and Sadey Mcpartlin were all the ones that injured and luckily came out alive.
Obviously this means that the students will have longer time of school and would most likely have to study online. The headteacher of the secondary school said “ I can’t believe this happened especially a day before the school reopens, it really is a tragedy and my wishes go to the ones who were injured”.
