Giannis Antetokumpo Traded to the Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors after a disappointing season looked for revenge and earlier on in the year, Curry told the media, “The dynasty is not over.” The blockbuster trade went down as the Warriors traded the #2 overall pick, Andrew Wiggins, another 1st round pick, Jordan Poole and Damion Lee for Giannis Antetokumpo. A lot of power ranking websites has already predicted the Warriors to go undefeated. The Warriors now have statistically the most dominant team ever. Now questions loom how well the Warriors chemistry will be and if the Curry and Giannis pick an roll of will be even stoppable. This move sent shockwaves throughout the NBA, as Dwayne Wade tweeted on twitter saying, “Time to get back to work Miami!” Giannis recently stated he promised to stay in Milwaukee but in reality had been trying to be teammates with Stephen Curry since 2017! It has been revealed that Stephen Curry had been recruiting Giannis for a while now, and the move finally went down this afternoon. Now the question is, is the dynasty back?

For the past 5 years, the Warriors GM had hinted ideas and interests of him wanting Giannis. The Warriors GM had saw raw talent in him after Giannis made his first all star team in 2017. Giannis had always been talking about how playing with the Warriors wasn’t an impossible idea. He stated that, “Joining the Warriors will be a fresh new experience.” He seemed extremely excited and now the Warriors are clear favorites to win the NBA championship next season. Obviously chemistry might be an issue for teams like these, but we all know the Warriors can pull anything off.
