The 20-year-old TikTok star Tony Lopez was found dead Tuesday night. He was found right off the side of the road near the gate that leads into the Hype House.
“He was such an amazing soul,” fellow TikTok star Charli D’amelio told us. “We would always have the best time dancing with him. It’s so sad he’s not here anymore.”
Hype House founder Thomas Petrou also had something to tell us. “We assume he crashed on the way home. He went to the store and never came back that night. We got in our car and started driving and found the car there. Tony usually drives a Tesla, but his Tesla was getting rapped so he had to take the old car. It’s just so sad that such an amazing person had to be taken away from us.”
Addison Rae also spoke on Tony’s death. “We’ve been posting his drafts so it feels like he’s still with us. [Tony has multiple drafts] We also repost fans’ edits of Tony on his Instagram story just to show our appreciation for them. We post picture on Snapchat, Instagram, and we tweet on Twitter to make it feel as if he’s still here. Tony will forever be in our hearts, and we miss him so much.”
Many of the other members/Tony’s friends have been posting about him trying to keep his memory with us. Tony’s brother told us that they, “don’t want to much information being let out to the public since it’s so heartbreaking and most of [them] are still trying to figure out what happened.”
For now, we know that Tony may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
