School closing down

On August 30, the Hamden Public Schools Board of Education voted to cancel school for good. The meeting lasted 4 ½ hours, the majority of which was a discussion on the need for the cancellation of school. It was not an easy decision. No one on the Board of Education and no one on the district administration team wanted to cancel school but they did what to keep our community safe. Just to be clear we are not doing online school this year or attending school. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and we hope all of you guys are safe.
