Former Ronald Reagan 5th grade school teacher Gene Ramos, was stabbed by student Angie Zavala, 12 times on a Monday at 11:53am
“I hated him” Says Zavala, now a possible inmate at Yuma County Juvenile Justice center.
“I knew she said she wanted to kill him but I thought she said it out of anger and I didn’t know she’d actually do it” Said one of Zavala’s cousins, Emily Guzman.
Zavala and Guzman grew up together since Guzman was only 10 months older and had most things in common with her.
“She hated him but I thought she didn’t wanna go to jail for killing him” says Zavalas other close cousin, Martin Velasco.
Velasco and Zavala were in the same grade and in the same classes up until 5th grade.
Zavala is now facing only 2 years in Yuma County Juvenile Justice center since she’s still a minor.
