Police issue arrest warrant for Cincinnati man involved in a hit and run

Cincinnati β€” A Cincinnati man is under investigation for an alleged hit and run that sent one child victim to the hospital Saturday night.

Around 9:00 p.m., Cincinnati police and other emergency responders, were dispatched, regarding a hit and run crash resulting in the injury of a pedestrian, according to a Cincinnati police press release.

While the crash was still under investigation, officers located red CRV being operated near the area. The car matched the description of the vehicle allegedly involved in the crash, according to police.

As a result of the investigation which followed, the operator of the red CRV, identified as Jacob Marlman, 27, of Cincinnati, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash resulting in personal injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (the vehicle), and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. A warrant is currently out for his arrest.

The 9-year-old female victim who was struck by the vehicle, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.The crash is currently under investigation by members of the Cincinnati Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.
