This is a rare symptom that happens when stressed or the mouse has respiratory issues. How to know to if it white mucus? If you see any type of hard white Substance in your carpet or clothes it is probably white mucus. This substance comes in many forms. Some forms are soft and light gray and easy to take out of any material, the other form is more of a whiter color and is hard to take out of materials. Some people do have mice as pets, if your mouse looks like it’s struggling and then spits a white form of mucus take it to a small animal veterinarian. To help your mice make sure you don’t pet it, just stay by their side.
