Illumination Studios Confirms Claims of Minions Being Real

You heard it right. Just this morning, Illumination – the animation studio behind the Despicable Me Trilogy and fan favourite Minions Franchise, confirmed to the public via Twitter, stating that the yellow, rampant life sized Minions running around were indeed real.

Most of you may be wondering why and how these Minions came about to exist in real life. And the answer to that is quite simple. Apparently, it has everything to do with advertising their next Minions Movie – Minions: The Rise of Gru.

According to Illumination Studios, they stated “In order to get everyone hyped and with the trends, we pitched the idea with the Studio Heads and they decided to run along with it. We teamed up with Bill Gates and Bill Nye the Science Guy, to create real biological components that could be placed together using a systematic structure to create a real and life sized Minion! And it just went from there…”

Apparently these Minions will die out in about two weeks from now, their bodily organs shutting down, so as to not cause too much havoc around cities and towns. Thank God.

Minions: The Rise of Gru will be showcased in Cinemas next month around the world, Illumination confident in their work, claiming that it is “A film and piece of art like no other…”. We will have to wait and see, to find out if that’s true or not.
