Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, has formally announced today, 4 August, that all schools in New South Wales, and the Brisbane Area in Queensland will be closed starting from 10 August, until further notice.
He encourages schools to implement work-from-home strategies, and to continue operation from separate locations.
“I don’t know what’s happening in the rest of Australia, but I do know that two idiots flew up to Brisbane from Melbourne the other week, and that we should be going back into lockdown, starting with schools.” – Scomo’s formal address.
