Much like the infamous “Pepe The Frog” image circulating in the past decade, popular character Sans the Skeleton from story based game “Undertale” by Toby Fox has recently been popping up on many nazi and white supremacist themed sites.
Posts have been found saying lines such as “white as a skeleton” or “want to have a bad time?”
Many fans of the game are devastated by this use of their beloved character, and are working hard to help recharge the meaning of this skeleton. Though it would appear many of the neonazis using the imagery don’t plan on backing down. They call fans of the game hateful names, and continuously make posts cussing out people of color under Sans’s name.
This was a problem before with the frog, as many posts circulated the internet with him being used as a frontline for white supremacy and KKK activity.
