Governor Whitmer Lays Her Final Decision: This school year will completed virtually.

It is mid summer and many students and parents have had one question in mind: Will schools be re-opened for the 2020-2021 school year?
Yesterday Michigan’s Governor gave her final decision to the public, “For the safety of our state and the children that inhabit our state, it has been agreed to not re-open schools for this upcoming school year.” There have been many disappointed students, more so in the teen population, Kasey LaTaire, a soon to be senior at Novi High School, gave us her opinion, “I know that this is something very serious, but can’t there be more safety measures put out in order for us to return and have a normal school year?”
Many students from Michigan have decided to start a petition for Governor Whitmer to consider the decision made, but Whitmer claims that there won’t be any changing of mind.
